A microsite was created to communicate the program, criteria and fees as well as accept entries.

Because the exhibit was in the back of a market, it was decided to use this space as a ‘billboard’ to let people know they were in the right place. Captured here are different angles to show you what people would see as they were walking in.

‘Built’ signage was cnc’d in 3/4” plywood to give it both weight and depth.

And painted in two tones to give it the illusion of dimensionality.

Signage was used on both sides of the entry to the market to advertise the exhibit.

Using the city as both pattern and graphic helped to create some visual texture beyond just the logo. It also tied into the theme as something ‘built’ both literally and figuratively.

The color is brought into the the space through the fixtures for the exhibition. The idea was to make the space the focal point, not just the mural.
